2024 Lexus TX Three-Row Luxury SUV

The 2024 Lexus TX SUV shares its platform with its sibling Toyota Grand Highlander, which replaces the previous generation RX-L three-row SUV in the Lexus line-up. It has an RXL trim, which is quite roomy in the rear seat. TX offers plenty of space for adults to sit comfortably without getting their legs cramped. 

 

TX comes with an array of luxury features inside, with an innovative Lexus badge inside that also includes available semi-aniline leather upholstery and a 21-speaker Mark Levinson stereo system. It has three different powertrains, i.e., two hybrids, and one is a plug-in hybrid. The entry-level models are powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine and plug-in hybrid that makes 404 horsepower and delivers a range of 33 miles of electric motor driving charge.

TX is the newest addition to the Lexus brand line-up and will go on sale in fall 2023.

Engine and Transmission

The 2024 Lexus TX350 badge is powered by the turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 275 horsepower, eight-speed automatic transmission, and either front or all-wheel drive. TX500H F Sport performance comes with a standard all-wheel-drive, and the addition of a hybrid assist system makes a 366 horsepower, eight-speed automatic transmission. 

It has another powerful version of TX, i.e., Lexus 550h+, which comes with a 3.5-liter V6 engine and plug-in hybrid that makes 404 horsepower. It delivers a quiet and comfortable ride with a series of luxury-oriented families. The two hybrid powertrains cover 0-60 mph in just 5.5 seconds. TX 350 has an EPA of 21 mpg city and 27 mpg with front-wheel drive, and all-wheel-drive models 26 mpg highway. TX500h are 27 mpg city and 28 mpg highway. 

Design and Interior

The interior layout can easily accommodate seven passengers in three rows. It has an optional second-row captain’s chair. The storage bins are plentiful and have integrated plenty of charging ports inside the TX’s cabin, too. It features plenty of standard luxury items, including power-adjustable steering lighting. 

TX comes with a bigger 14.0-inch infotainment standard display along with Lexus’s latest infotainment interfaces, which are quite responsive and intuitive to use. It comes with the wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto, an in-dash navigation system, and a wireless smartphone charging pad. It has a 12.3-inch digital gauge display system with a series of information for the driver and an optional head-up display. TX comes with a 21-inch Mark Levinson premium stereo optional.

Safety Features

Lexus TX comes with a series of driver assistance technologies that include adaptive cruise control, pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, and more. It comes with automated emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and lane-centering features. 

Warranty Features

Lexus offers a limited warranty, unlike its competitors, as the powertrain warranty surpasses many automakers. The hybrid components come with longer coverage, and complimentary scheduled maintenance lasts one year.
