2024 GMC Sierra 2500 Denali Ultimate Review

2024 GMC Sierra Heavy-duty pickup trucks can easily pull considerable weight without having as much power as Hulk. It offers a shiny chrome exterior with a comfortable leather saddle, enhancing its beauty.

2024 GMC Sierra HD has a standard gas-powered 6.6-liter V8 engine that generates 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque with a 10-speed automatic transmission with rear and four-wheel-drive. It also has an optional Duramax diesel 6.6-liter V8 engine that makes 470 ponies and 975 pound-feet of torque with an Allision-certified 10-speed automatic transmission.

The Duramax engine is the highlight of the heavy-duty pick-up truck as it can tow up to substantial loads. The refined engine and responsive transmission make the ride quality fun. The trail-focused AT4 and AT4X models are rugged, with an off-road suspension and locking differential. 

The 2024 Sierra 2500 HD can tow up to 36,000 pounds that have massive capacities that include a diesel engine, regular cab, rear-wheel-drive, dual rear wheel axle, and gooseneck hitch, single rear wheel axle, and muscular version can tow up to 22, 500 pounds of weight.

2500 Sierra HD has a considerable dashboard that hosts user-friendly switchgear, making the drive fun for users. The model also comes with a split-folding front bench, replaced the same with pair of bucket seats and a full center console.

Sierra’s interior has an optional head-up display, a heated steering wheel, and heated and cooled front seats with wireless charging. The cabin panels and material quality could be better. Also, there’s an abundance of softer surfaces which benefits the model from durable plastics. The new Denali Ultimate Trim speaks luxury with leather-wrapped pieces, Paldao wood trim pieces, and a microsuede headliner.

The pickup truck is practical and versatile, with extensive passenger space in the crew cab. It has a standard long cargo box with in-built steps on both sides of the bed and a rear bumper at each one of the corners. The package can be customized with LED Lighting, movable tie-downs, and a 120-volt outlet.

2024 Sierra HD has a standard touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Car Play and Android Auto. The base models have lesser options that can be easily outfitted with 120-volt outlets and mobile hotspots.

The trim levels have an 8.0-inch screen with additional charging ports, rotary knobs, and physical buttons. It has a larger touchscreen that can be upgraded with the in-built navigation system, Bose audio system, SiriusXM satellite radio, and a rear-seat entertainment system.

It has a 13.4-inch touchscreen with integrated features like in-built Google, a split-screen navigation system, and wireless Apple Car Play & Android Auto. GMC Sierra Denali & Denali Ultimate trims can remotely control trailer functions through a smartphone application.

The 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 heavy-duty truck has intuitive driver assistance technology. Its comprehensive camera system features up to 15 viewing modes, allowing the user to see through the attached trailer virtually. Sierra has received crash test results with flying colors from NHTSA and IIHS.
