Chevrolet will keep the ball rolling by delivering the newly advanced Bolt and focusing on executing it more quickly than an all-new program with significantly lower engineering expense and capital investment by updating the vehicle with Ultium and Ultifi technologies and applying our “winning with simplicity” discipline.
The various Ultium and Utilfi technological advancements will help GM return the popular models to market within a specified timeline. The launch, timing, and specific details will be announced later.
The new generation Chevy Bolt is expected to join the electric vehicle line-up, three of which are launching this year, such as the Silverado EV, Blazer EV, and Equinox EV.
Chevy Bolt EV entered the market in 2017 as an affordable electric vehicle delivering a long range. Bolt EV and EUV sales will cross the milestones in the first half of 2023 and will be the strongest. 80% of Bolt owners stay loyal to Chevy, and nearly 70% of buyers trading in vehicles for Bolt sell non-GM products.
