2024 Ferrari Purosangue Overview

Based on the popularity of its high-performance sport-utes, Ferrari created the 2024 Purosangue SUV. The SUV will face competition from high-performance vehicles like the Urus and Cayenne Turbo, as well as high-end vehicles like the Bentley Bentayga and Rolls-Royce Cullinan. To improve ride and handling, it has an active suspension system and a powerful V-12 engine. Starting at somewhat over $400,000, the price includes the mandatory gas-guzzler tax. Expectedly, the Purosangue will cost a hedge-fund manager's salary to afford, with starting pricing slightly over $400,000 (plus gas-guzzler tax).

Cost and Selection of Items for Purchase

The 2024 Ferrari Purosangue has a starting price of $402,050. The Purosangue is equipped with a plethora of high-end and high-performance amenities as standard, but Ferrari does offer several options that purchasers might find interesting. After a long day of sailing the Monte Carlo coast, the optional electrochromic glass roof may lure sunseekers, and the front seats may be rather comfortable. In any case, we recommend fully utilizing Ferrari's customization features to craft a Purosangue that is uniquely you.

Performance, Engine, and Transmission

When purists mock an SUV with the renowned prancing horse emblem, we will point out that Purosangue's 6.5-liter V-12 engine is naturally aspirated. A roaring twelve-cylinder with 715 horsepower and the brand's distinctive red-painted valve colors are what epitomize a Ferrari. With its robust 528 pound-feet of torque, the engine should be able to propel the Purosangue to a high speed of 193 mph in just 3.2 seconds. After our first test drive, the handling and performance of the Purosangue left us quite satisfied, dispelling any last doubts we had that Ferrari's first SUV would be a complete failure. Standard equipment includes an adjustable suspension system that employs an electric motor at each body roll during turning movements by applying force to the dampers around the SUV's corner. Because of this, the Purosangue may reduce its ride height by 0.4 inches during severe driving, negating the requirement for conventional anti-roll bars. The Purosangue gives a very good imitation of its sports car brothers when it is in full conversation.

Cargo, Comfort, and Interior

The Purosangue is the only Ferrari available today that can accommodate four passengers in a proper manner. It has a set of sleek, rear-hinged coach-style (also known as "suicide") rear doors that are designed to make it simpler to access the back seat while maintaining the illusion of having two doors. There is a central console in each row and individual bucket seats for the front and rear passengers, so there isn't a bench in the back for an occasional fifth passenger. The inside is, of course, covered with materials of the highest caliber. The majority of the car's functions are managed by the steering wheel, so it would be an understatement to say that the cockpit is driver-oriented. However, in these day of tablet-style center-stack screens, one major surprise is that there is not an infotainment touchscreen in the middle. Although a glass roof is an option, opting with the regular carbon-fiber roof panel will save weight if you don't wish to view the sun while driving.

Connectivity and Entertainment

There is a 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster and a secondary 10.2-inch screen for the front passenger, but there isn't a centrally positioned infotainment display. Although Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard, Ferrari does not include an in-dash navigation system because it believes that most consumers would prefer to use their phones for that purpose.
