The smallest SUV in Buick's range, the 2024 Encore GX, attempts to appeal to younger consumers, however, sales of this vehicle are not as strong as those of Audis, BMWs, and Volvos. Although it has less luxury and underwhelming turbocharged three-cylinder powertrains, it delivers comparable features.

Cost and Selection of Items for Purchase

The Buick doesn't stand out in comparison to competitors like the Mercedes-Benz GLA250 and the BMW X1. But it stands out as a respectable bargain when compared to popular rivals like the Honda HR-V and the Toyota Corolla Cross. Performance, Engine, and Transmission

Two three-cylinder turbocharged engines power the Encore GX range. With an optional 1.3-liter engine, the 1.2-liter basic model's 137 horsepower may be increased to 155. This is unfortunate because there are premium brand competitors of the Encore GX that have somewhat faster acceleration times and more potent engines. Thankfully, the Encore GX accelerates more quickly than its numbers indicate, especially in town, where the little turbo engine makes the most of its respectable low-end oomph.

Buick is more equipped than base-level versions of competitors like the Nissan Kicks and Subaru Crosstrek, but it doesn't provide the same degree of fit and finish as an Audi, BMW, or Volvo because of its location in the market, which lies between luxury and mainstream. To make it easier to transport longer things, the front passenger seat of the Encore GX folds flat.
